Summer Past

Shakespeare's Globe in LondonI loved this summer. It was definitely the best one of my life. Went to Europe. Yeah. Met some awesome friends. Worked as a tutor at the learning center. Relaxed. Swam. Read a little. Had a few picnics. Went Shopping. Painted. Found my independence. Thought about life. I am a better person. I still don't know entirely who I am, but I do know more; I am probably as close to knowing thyself as is possible, for I don't really believe you can know yourself truly (as part of being alive consists of us being continually in a state of change and developing a new self-awareness consistent with our stage in life).

Giant Spider in BilbaoI guess I'm just sad summer is over. While, I wouldn't say it went fast per se, it went all together too quickly. Classes start tomorrow, so I am going to have to come to grips with the idea that my summer is officially gone.

  1. Hello from Next Blog Over. I'm glad you learned from your summer exploits. I once went through Shippensburg on my way to lecturing at a college in Bethlehem, PA. Still not certain why our route was so convoluted...
