Hello - I googled camp YoliJwa in a moment of feeling old - I went to camp there for 9 years starting in the sixtys and then spent the summers of 70, 71, 72 amd 73 on staff as one thing or another. I have great memories of it and am glad others (like you) are doing the same now - so enjoy some day you may be old like me and enjoy looking up your old memories on the net - we never heard of the web in our days at Yolijwa.
Wow, that's so cool. I absolutely love Camp YoliJwa. It's great connecting with people who were involved with such a great ministry over the net. Thanks for your comment and your service at Camp YoliJwa!
Just like the last post, I to went to Camp Yolijwa a ling time ago, back in the 80s and I to woke up this morning feeling old and for some reason, the camp pooped into my mind so I started to google hoping to catch up with some old friends...I am very happy to see that the camp is still in full swing, my last yeat there was back in 1994, my Senior year of High School....it is always great to relive some memories....
Wow.. talk about bringing back old memories!! I went to camp YoliJwa for church confirmation preparation in 1970.... it was one of the best experiences of my life... (I loved the Mabel Mabel--get your elbows off the table thing.. lol).....I drove thru Yucaipa the other day and it brought back soooo many memories...Glad to know its still bringing happiness to kids !! Thanks for all the good times!
I believe Don Billett Sr and Jenn are talking about two different locations. I believe Don is talking about PA and Jenn is talking about CA. How would I know that unless I know Don?
Hello. I'm glad we all have an appreciation for Camp YoliJwa. I didn't realize there was more than one. I happened to writing about the one in PA, because I'm pretty sure that's what we all shouted at the end of the infamous camp song. Anyway, no matter which one you are familiar with, thanks for the comments.
